The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show brings in 1,500 boats, several thousand exhibitors, 100,000 attendees and generates over a billion dollars in economic activity. The show can also be a barometer for the greater boating industry, not only with regards to actual sales but also in terms of the talk on the docks.
